Abstract
This study presents new records of an invasive species of sea snail, the ‘Persian conch’ –Conomurex persicus (Swainson, 1821) – in the Central Mediterranean. These records consist of the first one for the Maltese archipelago and the second one for Italy.

Questo lavoro presenta nuove segnalazioni per il Mediterraneo Centrale della specie invasiva Conomurex persicus (Swainson, 1821). Queste segnalazioni rappresentano la prima per l’arcipelago Maltese e la seconda per l’Italia.
