Abstract
Benthomangelia mercatii n. sp. and Benthomangelia valentinae n. sp., members of the Mangeliidae family from the Pacific Ocean, are described based on their morphological features. The new taxa can be morphologically differentiated from other species currently placed in the genus Benthomangelia.
Marshallena gracilispira A. W. B. Powell, 1969 is regarded as a junior synonym of Benthomangelia trophonoidea (Schepman, 1913), while Surcula celebensis Schepman, 1913 is transferred to the genus Paradrillia Makiyama, 1940 of Horaiclavidae Bouchet, Kantor, Sysoev & Puillandre, 2011.

Questi nuovi taxa possono essere differenziati morfologicamente dalle altre specie attualmente incluse nel
genere Benthomangelia.Marshallena gracilispira A. W. B. Powell, 1969 viene considerato sinonimo di Benthomangelia trophonoidea (Schepman, 1913), mentre Surcula celebensis Schepman, 1913 viene trasferito nel genere Paradrillia Makiyama, 1940 in Horaiclavidae Bouchet, Kantor, Sysoev & Puillandre, 2011.
